Mardson Queiroz McQuay

General Background
Dr. McQuay completed his Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon University in spray combustion technology in June of 1987. Since then, he has been working as a professor of Mechanical Engineering at Brigham Young University. He is the author of co-author of several publications dealing with the fundamentals of spray combustion, laser diagnostics in two-phase combustion, atomization, and heat transfer. He is a member of ASME, The Combustion Institute, and the K-11 ASME committee on Fire and Combustion. Professor McQuay is currently supervising the independent research efforts of five Ph.D. students in the area of turbulent combustion.
