If you have not received yours please use the online form. You can fax or mail your reservation to ACERC. Contact information is in the blue column at the left. Link to 2005 Registration Form. The selection of session speakers is now underway. Each speaker will have twenty minutes for presentation and five minutes for questions and answers. If you have been invited to speak please contact Linda with your presentation topic by November 30th. Keepsake Letter Booklet "All Colleagues and Graduate Students of Dr. Smoot are Invited" All colleagues and graduate students of Dr. Smoot are invited to participate in the compilation of a keepsake booklet of letters. The letters written as a tribute to Dr. Smoot will be presented to him at the 2005 ACERC Conference. You may also send pictures or other items that would be appropriate for the booklet. The letters should be written to Dr. Smoot and sent to ACERC, Brigham Young University, 350 Clyde Building, Provo, UT 84602 no later than January 14, 2005. ACERC Eighteenth Annual Technical Conference The eighteenth annual ACERC conference was on February 12-13, 2004, at the Provo Marriott Hotel. The five sessions conducted at the Conference are as follows:
A poster session included work from all ACERC projects and from relevant industrial research. For links to presentations and posters that were presented at the Conference click here. Three Chemical Engineering students were honored as the recipients of the John Zink Award in November 2002 at Brigham Young University. A member of Koch Industries, John Zink has more than 300 engineers and technical experts in the areas of fuel handling, combustion processes, environmental controls, and process controls.

The aim of the Colloquium was to bring together experts and scientists from academia and industry to present and discuss issues relating to black liquor combustion and gasification systems. The eight technical sessions covered the following topics:
